Musical Journey Begins
We propose a series of uplifting, family-friendly live music sets by two talented Sri Lankan schoolgirls - Sethumi and Elina - to be hosted in hotel and restaurant lobbies around Colombo and beyond. Each performance will invite guests to unwind to popular, tasteful tunes while contributing to a meaningful cause: supporting the Stoma Care Unit at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children (LRH).
Participating venues can either:
Pay a performance fee (with an agreed share or full amount donated to LRH Stoma Care Unit), and/or
Enable guest giving via discreet donation boxes and QR codes at the lobby/barista counters.
This creates a warm community moment, enhances your guest experience, and demonstrates your brand’s commitment to children’s healthcare in Sri Lanka.
about the Cause: Stoma Care Unit at LRH
LRH is Sri Lanka’s national referral center for pediatric care and the largest free pediatric hospital in the country.
Its Stoma Care Unit—affiliated with the Paediatric Gastroenterology Unit—is Sri Lanka’s first dedicated paediatric stoma clinic, launched on 5 August 2019. It supports children and families managing ostomies (e.g., colostomy), provides education, and coordinates care with trained nursing staff. Clinic hours run Mon–Fri 7:00–16:00; Sat 7:00–13:00 at Room 38, OPD Building.
Public-private partners have helped expand the clinic, with reports noting it as the country’s first and only paediatric stoma clinic, underscoring its national importance.
Why your venue’s support matters:
Children with stomas and their families need specialized supplies, counseling, and education. Visibility and funding help the clinic continue compassionate, expert care.
